Services & The Process

The Process

If you have documents that require translation by a traductor jurado or a NAATI certified translator, the process is quite simple. Simply  send through clear photographs or scanned copies of the documents - no hard copies of the originals are required.

For interpreting services, please send an email to info@cjmtranslations.com.au to discuss your needs.

Step 1
Send Documents

Send through scanned copies or clear photographs of your documents so I can send you an obligation-free quote.

If your documents are Australian and require translation by a traductor jurado, don't forget to contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to have your documents apostilled. If you have been asked to apostille your documents and they are not Australian, you will need to contact the Consulate or Department of Foreign Affairs in the country the certificate was issued. DFAT can only apostille Australian documents.

Step 2

Make payment

Provide postal address

Make full payment for small jobs or partial payment for larger jobs. For larger jobs, you can choose to pay a deposit and then the outstanding sum once the digital copy is ready.

If you require or would like a hard copy, don't forget to send through your postal address.

Step 3
Wait for your translation

You will receive your translations in two business days, if they are standard documents. If you have a large number of documents, for example for a visa application, it may take about one or two weeks.  I will confirm the turnaround time when quoting.
